We made it to Amsterdam! Everything went smoothly at MSP for check-in, going through security (only took us about 20 minutes to get through the line - nice!), and we had time for a bite to eat in the airport before our flight. Uneventful flight to Amsterdam - smooth ride, nice plane, happy and healthy group. We got a shout out from the pilot... "I'd like to welcome the group from Minnehaha Academy, heading to Ghana, West Africa on their school's Cultural Field Experience program. Have a great trip, and thank you for flying Delta." Then some random passengers on the plane started clapping for us. So nice! Also, two of our flight attendants had kids that graduated from MA... "Minnehaha is such a great school!" I agree. :)
Below are a few pictures from our journey so far. Everyone is happy and healthy ~ lots of laughing in this group, which is great. We are so excited for our Ghana adventures ahead! Hanging out on our layover at the Amsterdam airport - having fun already and the trip has barely started! We are just getting ready to get in line to get on our plane to Ghana as I post this... yippee! :)
